I read this morning that the Declaration of Independence was signed today… August 2nd. Which I don’t get because we celebrate Independence Day on the 4th of July…the day the Declaration of Independence was signed, right? Apparently no. Congress did adopt it on July 4, but it took nearly a month longer to actually prepare…
